The Delhi High Court has adjourned to April 24, 2025, the bail petition of former JNU scholar Sharjeel Imam, arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act over the larger conspiracy leading to Delhi riots in 2020.

The single-judge Bench of Justice Sanjeev Narula adjourned the matter on Friday due to paucity of time.

Imam appeared before the High Court on Friday in connection with the two cases initiated against him over his speech delivered at Jamia Millia Islamia University regarding the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
