Rajasthan High Court disposes of petition over management of Pandupole Hanuman Temple

13/01/2025BlogNo Comments

The Rajasthan High Court has disposed of a petition filed by Mandir Shri Hanumanji Maharaj Pandupole and Shri Ram Shyam Hanuman Swayam Sewak Sangh, regarding the management of Pandupole Hanuman Temple.

The petitioners had sought relief in connection with the temple’s management, but the court found that the issues had been addressed by a recent order of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court’s order, dated December 11, 2024, contained directions regarding the management of the temple, including the stopping of private vehicles and the introduction of electric shuttle buses.

The order also addressed concerns raised by the trust and devotees regarding the preparation and sale of food items within the temple premises.

The High Court observed that the Supreme Court’s order had effectively addressed the concerns raised by the petitioners, and therefore, it was not inclined to proceed further with the petition.

The court disposed of the petition, bringing an end to the litigation.

The Supreme Court’s order had emphasized the need to balance the interests of the tiger reserve and the concerns of the devotees.

The order had also extended the deadline for implementing certain recommendations by one year, allowing for a more phased and balanced approach to addressing the concerns raised.
