Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal, who recently attended a wedding ceremony in Dehradun, lost two iPhones to theft during the event.

Chief Justice Agarwal was attending a wedding on January 26 at Foothill Garden on New Mussoorie Road in Malsi, Dehradun, when the incident reportedly took place, between 4:45 pm and 5:15 pm.

As per the Uttarakhand Police, they have registered a case against unknown individuals at Raipur Police Station and started investigations.
The case was filed on the basis of a complaint lodged in Ahmedabad by Moolchand Tyagi, Registrar General of the Gujarat High Court.

Police said one of the iPhones was registered in the Chief Justice’s name, while the other was purchased through the Registrar General’s office.

Police said they reached the wedding venue immediately after coming to know about the incident. Despite initial efforts, no immediate clues regarding the stolen phones were found.
