Cash-at-home row: In-house committee begins probe against Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma

The three-member in-house committee on Tuesday began its investigation into the alleged recovery of around Rs 15 crore cash from the official residence of Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma.

The committee comprising Justice Sheel Nagu (Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court), Justice GS Sandhawalia (Chief Justice of the High Court of Himachal) Pradesh and Justice Anu Sivaraman (Judge of Karnataka High Court) went to the residence of Justice Varma at around 13:00 hrs, as part of the probe, and spent around 45 minutes there.
