CJI Gavai leads Supreme Court to pay condolences to victims of Air India crash

Chief Justice of India BR Gavai, along with judges and Registry officials of the Supreme Court, expressed deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the crash of an
Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in Ahmedabad this afternoon.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, carrying 242 people, slammed into the hostel of BJ Medical College and Civil Hospital, leading to death of all passengers, as well as five people in the hostel.

Expressing concern over the inmates of BJ Medical College, the CJI said that during these difficult times, his thoughts and prayers were with the families of victims.

May they find strength and solace in the support of their loved ones, he added.
